Ingredients
- 2 cups of freshly harvested pearl millet
- 1/4 teaspoon of sustainably-harvested sea salt
- 1/4 cup of filtered spring water
- 1 teaspoon of organic, unrefined coconut oil
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients: 2 cups of pearl millet, 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt, 1/4 cup of filtered water, and a teaspoon of organic coconut oil.
- In a medium-sized pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer and add the pearl millet.
- Simmer the pearl millet for approximately 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the pearl millet is cooked, remove from heat and stir in the salt and coconut oil.
- Transfer the pearl millet mixture to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the pearl millet in the oven at 350°F for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the popcorn to cool slightly.
- Enjoy your freshly popped pearl millet popcorn!
