Ingredients
- 6 medjool dates, pitted and soaked in warm water for 30 minutes
- 1/4 teaspoon of organic saffron strands, toasted in a small pan
- 1/2 teaspoon of organic cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons of raw, organic honey
- 2 cups of organic almond milk
- 1 pinch of Himalayan salt (optional)
Instructions
- In the meantime, heat a small pan over medium-low heat and add 1/4 teaspoon of saffron strands
- Once the dates have finished soaking, drain any excess liquid and add to a blender.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of the toasted saffron strands to the blender, along with 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 2 cups of almond milk.
- Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the blended mixture into a jar and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Serve chilled and enjoy your ayurvedic ojas drink with dates & saffron.
