- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon fine Himalayan pink sea salt
- 2 tablespoons organic za'atar
- 4 tablespoons unsalted, grass-fed butter, cubed
- 1 cup organic zucchini, grated
- 3/4 cup organic plain whole-milk yogurt
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon freshly-squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and za'atar
- Add zucchini and yogurt and stir until just combined.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until just combined.
- Pat dough into a 1-inch-thick circle
- Place scones on the prepared baking sheet
- Allow scones to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
