Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease an 8x8 baking pan and line with parchment paper.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of quick oats, 1/2 cup of almond flour, 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
- Place the date mixture in the bottom of the greased pan and spread evenly.
- Top with the oat mixture, pressing down lightly until the oats are evenly distributed.
- Arrange 1/2 cup of pitted and halved damson plums over the top of the oats.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until the oats are golden and the plums are bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 15 minutes before cutting into bars.
- Enjoy the sweet flavor of nature's gifts while reflecting on the soul-nourishing connection between chef and ingredient.
