Ingredients
- 2 organic starfruits, ripe and fragrant
- 2 organic sassafras roots, washed and peeled
- 1 teaspoon organic cane sugar
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground cardamom
- 1 tablespoon organic butter
- ½ cup organic coconut milk
Instructions
- Begin by gathering the ingredients: two starfruits, two sassafras roots, one teaspoon of sugar, half teaspoon of ground cardamom, one tablespoon of butter, and half cup of coconut milk
- Slice the starfruit into thin circles
- Peel the sassafras root and then mince.
- Heat a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat
- Add the sassafras and starfruit to the pan
- Sprinkle the sugar and cardamom into the pan and stir to combine.
- Pour the coconut milk into the pan and reduce the heat to medium-low
- Once the milk has thickened, remove the skillet from the heat.
- Serve warm or chilled and enjoy the fragrant flavors of starfruit and sassafras.
