Instructions
- Begin by lightly greasing a 9-inch baking dish with butter.
- In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup honey, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon of saffron threads, and a pinch of salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 4 large eggs, 2 cups of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Cut 8 slices of French bread into cubes and place them in the greased baking dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the cubes.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
