- 1/2 cup oat flour or finely ground oats for a more rustic texture
- 1/4 cup honey plus extra for glazing
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
- Cinnamon for dusting
Instructions
Fig and Honey Infused Milk:
Almond Fig Bars:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine dried figs, ground almonds, oat flour, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Process until the mixture becomes sticky and holds together.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared tray, creating an even layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the tray before cutting into individual bars.
