  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until combined
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until the dough is crumbly.
  • Gently fold in the fresh blueberries and finely chopped basil leaves.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and shape it into a round circle about 1-inch thick
  • Cut the dough into 8 wedges and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown
