- 2 cups (240 g) buckwheat flour
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 1 cup (240 ml) almond milk
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons (15 g) fresh basil leaves, snipped
- 2 tablespoons (10 g) freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (204°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the buckwheat flour, sea salt, and baking powder.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, almond milk, and sugar until smooth.
- Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until the dough comes together.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) thick.
- Place the dough on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce in an even layer over the dough.
- Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
- Serve the pizza hot or warm, and enjoy!
