Fresh, organic carrots and oranges are used for their prana (life force) and nutrients. Fresh ginger adds a warming, digestive quality to the smoothie.
Ingredients
- 2 medium organic carrots (peeled and chopped)
- 1 large organic orange (peeled and deseeded)
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger (peeled)
- 1 cup water or coconut water
- A few ice cubes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Place chopped carrots, orange segments, and ginger in blender
- Add water or coconut water
- Blend until smooth
- Add honey or syrup if desired
- Add ice cubes and blend again
- Serve in a tall glass.
