- ½ teaspoon Darjeeling tea leaves

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 3 cups of all-purpose flour, ¼ cup of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
- Cut 6 tablespoons of cold, unsalted butter into the flour mixture until it resembles a coarse meal.
- Make a well in the center and add 1 ½ cups of heavy cream, 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract, and ½ teaspoon of Darjeeling tea leaves.
- Stir until the dough begins to come together.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it 2-3 times until it forms a cohesive ball.
- Roll the dough out to a ½-inch thickness, and cut into rounds with a 3-inch biscuit cutter.
- Place the scones on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush the tops with heavy cream.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown
- Allow to cool slightly before serving
