Ingredients

  • 1 cup Himalayan red rice
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • Chopped cilantro, to taste
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Lemon juice, to taste

Instructions

  • Begin with 1 cup of red Himalayan rice
  • Place the rinsed rice in a pot and add 2 cups of cold, pure water
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot
  • While the rice is cooking, heat up 2 tablespoons of ghee in a large pan over medium-high heat
