- Begin by soaking 1 cup of black rice in 3 cups of cold water for 1 hour.

- Remove the seeds from the lychee and cut them into small pieces.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the black rice to the boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Drain the black rice and add it to the bowl with the lotus seeds and lychee.
