Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup freshly chopped marigold petals
- 2 cups water
- 4 teaspoons Majestic Masala chai
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In one bowl, sift together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, ¼ teaspoon of baking powder, and ¼ teaspoon of baking soda.
- In a separate bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil, ¼ cup of honey, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and stir until thoroughly mixed.
- Carefully fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in ½ cup of freshly chopped marigold petals
- Grease a muffin tin with coconut oil.
- Divide the batter between the muffin tin slots.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add 4 teaspoons of Majestic Masala chai, stirring constantly.
- Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Strain the chai and pour into four warmed mugs.
