- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 tsp natural vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup whole milk
For the Cream Cheese Drizzle:
- 1/4 cup cream cheese softened
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat Oven and Prepare Dough:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, beetroot powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, and pink salt.
- Add melted butter, vanilla extract, and whole milk to the dry ingredients. Stir to form a smooth dough.
Shape Cereal O's:
- Roll small pieces of dough into thin ropes. Join the ends to form O-shaped rings.
- Place them on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake the Cereal:
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the O's are firm and crisp. Let them cool completely.
Prepare Cream Cheese Drizzle:
- Blend the cream cheese, heavy cream, honey, and lemon juice until smooth. Transfer to a small piping bag.
Assemble the Cereal:
- Drizzle the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cereal O's in a zigzag pattern.
Serve:
- Serve the Red Velvet Cake O's Cereal with your choice of milk.
