Ingredients
- • 2 large soursop, ripe yet still firm, with vibrant green skin
- • 2-3 stalks of sweetgrass, fragrant and fresh
- • 2-3 cups of cold water
- • Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by gathering your ingredients
- Rinse the soursop and sweetgrass under cold running water.
- Cut the soursop into quarters and remove the seeds
- Place the soursop and sweetgrass in a large saucepan and cover with cold water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Strain the soursop and sweetgrass and reserve the liquid.
- Place the soursop and sweetgrass in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Slowly add the reserved liquid and blend until the mixture is creamy and thick.
- Serve the Sacred Soursop & Sweetgrass Symphony in individual bowls garnished with a few strands of sweetgrass.
